One of my kids at school today was talking about the concession stand he went to at a baseball game. He kept calling it the "confession" stand (he''s only 6). I told his mom about it and she smiled and replied, "well, we ARE Catholic."

That sounds like fun! Sometimes I wish that I had a weekend on my own, but my husband doesn''t have anywhere else to go.

a few months ago, I purchased a seatbelt/harness for my dog. I finally got around to putting in the car today, and tried it out...

I should have gotten this years ago! It''s comfy for the dog, and she can still sit up or lay down, but none of the crazy flopping around in the back of the car. To boot, if I needed to, I could actually sit next to her, rather than relinquishing the entire backseat to dogdom!

Brilliant, just brilliant, and I feel like a better mom!!!

I just watched an episode of the Golden Girls on dvd, I really like that show. I just realized I was in my 20''s when that show first aired, and now I could BE a Golden Girl. Yikes.


It''s a very weird feeling.

Golden Girls is totally a guilty pleasure of mine! I watch it all afternoon on the WE channel, when I get home from work. It''s one of the only shows that I can watch an episode that I''ve already seen (and still laugh). I''ve loved this show for years!!!

I agree, the writing on that show is just so good! I especially like the earlier episodes. And lilyfoot, by the time you''re old enough to be a Golden Girl I''ll be...omg, I dont even want to do the math on that!!

I LOOOOOOVE BOWLING!!! my average is about 120-140. wooohooo I have my own ball and shoes.

ILA- dh and I joined a league this year with friends, so we bought shoes to save money. We both just bought our own balls (although the season is now over) and I bowled a 112 average for the league. Tonight I bowled 4 games, all over 150! I was so excited!
