I just ordered my first synthetic stone! It’s a 6.38ct Czochralski pulled yellow asscher cut sapphire. I’ve been on the edge for awhile and finally decided to pull the trigger! I’ve had an asscher on my wishlist for quite some time and my favorite color is yellow so when I saw this listed this morning I freaked out! I have no idea what I’m going to do with it yet but I’m soooo excited!

It’s out for delivery! I’m super nervous because this is my first synthetic stone. I’m hoping that it knocks my socks off! I have a natural sapphire, a tourmaline and a garnet sitting in my safe waiting to be set but I’m in the mood to skip over them and set this guy first. I actually already have a natural yellow sapphire ballerina ring that I’m obsessed with so I’m hoping that this sapphire feels different enough. My natural one is a small cushion with green undertones. I seem to have an addiction to yellow stones! Anyways I thought it would be fun to share some of my ideas. Here are some sloppy colored inspiration pics! No clear direction obviously. I also think a yellow, orange, and reddish sapphire ombré halo would be so cool but I can’t quite picture it
