Alright, I'm new here to the board. I've seen some very beautiful and impressive diamond rings on the site. Figured it was now time for me to show my fiancee's engagement ring which she has no idea is coming!

It's GIA certified, excellent cut, H color, vs1, 1.4 c.

What do y'all think? Will she be happy? I can't wait to give it to her!!! :bigsmile:

oh its beautiful!!! classic setting (I love the 6-prong!), beautiful stone, super-excited boyfriend - how could she not be THRILLED??
 
It's a lovely sized stone and so sparkly! She's sure to be thrilled. What setting are you thinking of?

oh wow, thanks! i really can't wait for the moment. she lives abroad and it will be 3 super long months before i see her again. i am hoping it will be worth the wait :))

thanks! the picture really don't do justice as i used a 2 megapixel cam from a blackberry. the setting i'm holding is the one the diamond this diamonds home (solitaire). It'll have diamonds on the band 3/4 from top to bottom. Ok idea? :))

Thanks!!! It is a H VS1, also! (I ended up with 1.6 cts. because we couldn't find a 1.4 at the time, but keep in mind that I had worn a 1 ct. for many years before that!)

the ring is now mounted and it's banded with a total of .51 carat, f color, vs1 diamonds!!! :bigsmile: it really looks so much better in person. if possible, i will take more better pics and will have them posted.
