How about we work out a loaner program . . . my Asscher for your gorgeous baguette wedding band and lovely cushion?!?!? I'll even throw in my sq. emerald eternity band! I must have that baguette band! It's just . . . sooooo unique and I think it would look great with my Asscher!

Bebe, I think it depends on the setting, but I really, really wish I would have upgraded the diamonds on this particular setting, since an ACA was going in it. It''s a nice setting, and a great deal when you think of the fact that I paid much less than $200 for a custom sized setting, but man, I wish I''d have upgraded the diamonds on this one. At least the ACA is still the star of the show.

Lauren, it looks great! I assumed you did upgrade.

October2008bride - thank you! And the key is to just do it. Let your hubby know you''re looking for a particular stone, then let him know you''re looking for a particular setting. Get his opinion if you can, but at the end of the day, I''m spending bonus and/or commission money on my rings, which is just fun money anyway.
