Especially since I would have to say squirrels are like the unofficial PS mascot, in my opinion. Why you ask?

A) Ellen's squirrel stories and "THAT" picture.
B) Other squirrel stories and pics.
C) Let's face it, many of us are a bit squirrelly.
D) We hoard gems like squirrels do nuts. Ever see Ice Age... that's us folks and that nut is the gem were hunting.

I love this story Gypsy! Thanks for sharing it. What a sweet precious little squirrel and I am so glad it is a happy ending. I looked at your link and was afraid to click on because I wasn't sure if the outcome would be good but YAY!

I love squirrels and like your reasoning behind making them the mascot so I second your motion.

Awww, Gypsy, thanks for sharing that! What an upper. I felt like Missy did at first, afraid it was something sad. I don't look at sad animal stories anymore; I can't sleep at night. Instead, it's the CUTEST ending!

I NEVER have something useful in a pinch like that, such as warm gloves to put in the cup holder for a baby squirrel. (You should always be prepared.)

eeeek! The cutes! We call all our squirrels Steve. The Steves. Squirrels are kinda spastic in general..and we have a friend named Steve who is the same way. He was not overly impressed to find this out, however.
