I ought to have just walked away...but was just so taken with the whole ‘thing’, she screamed ‘YOU
The filigree is in amazing shape, all the accent stones are in tact, no chips. The accent sapphire color matches my sapphire e-band perfectly.
The center is some kind of transitional cut, and as best as anyone can tell, is original to the ring. It’s a tick over 1.10 carats. Color is towards the lower end, hard to see without pulling the stone as the platinum ‘whitens’ the rock, as we all know.
I’m pretty color sensitive, meaning I see it, but I love warmer stones so it’s not a bad thing to me, color - likely a P and a VS1, very clean under 10x.
No cert - from a small, higher end repair/custom jeweler who took it in as trade on an upgrade center stone
Just had to share!
