So I was visiting my mom in Florida for Mother's day, and naturally we had to go to the Jeweler's Exchange. I needed something repaired. I told myself don't buy anything. Your daughter is getting married...and really, I don't need a damn thing! .......well, that didn't happen. The ring wasn't even something I was looking at.....until I tried it on! What a statement piece! There are over 2.5cts of VS E diamonds in 18kwg. This is a flex style ring! The earrings are a designer (JJ Marco) 18kyg with about a half ctw of diamonds. About 11 grams. Just gorgeously made as well and I love the more green gold, boho, chandelier style!!

Oh wow, love all the pretty pastels being picked up too, as if each group of diamonds was in fact a separate flower. (Would love more pictures too!).

What will you wear it with? If we're flexing, may as well go all out and flex in the joggy bottoms and trainers on the way to the corner shop (or yoga pants and sneakers?)

I am definitely going to wear it on Sunday at my daughter's wedding along with my sapphire and diamond ring (avatar) My dress is a modern navy lace with 3d flowers-short skirt shown under the long lace bottom! It will be perfect!

You did not give in. You did your heroic patriotic duty to contribute to the financial health and stability of Jewelers Exchange, of the State of Florida and of the United States of America.

This is the kind of post I enjoy seeing on PS. Just incidental findings lol. I also love bargains too so maybe I'll suggest a thread on that next.

Thank you! I really did get a pretty nice deal. Nothing beats buying estate pieces from estate buyers especially with the price of gold right now!

I've been waiting!!! LOL Both are so cool! I always tell myself that I have to rescue things. The ring is amazing. I wish I had fingers where I could wear something like that. My fingers are so stumpy it would go up to my second joint, lol. It will be perfect for your daughter's wedding. The earrings are very cool as well.

Now THAT is a statement! I think it can be worn more casually too because it's so whimsical. It would be so pretty with a sundress on a nice summer day.
