A. Because Hugh is magnificent. Plus he can sing and dance, has comic timing, and has a totally normal looking wife. So unfair and yet, so so good.

B. Because Dreamer''s Dilemma, I think, should somehow be turned into a mini-series. We''ve seen Dynasty. We''ve seen Dallas. Blah, blah, blah... the super rich and their Channel this and that. What I want is the true drama of us semi-normal diamond crazed ladies, our husbands/fiances in all their forms, and the tough choices before us.

Dreamer, just to jazz it all up, we''re gonna have to include the daschunds.

I have to say that I log in every day to see what the status is on Dreamers upgrade. Even when we aren''t in a position to upgrade ourselves, it''s nice to be able to enjoy, support and be happy for someone who is. I can''t wait for the stone selection and pictures of the final ring!

Hi Dreamer, to ease your concerns the diamond that Brian recut for me is a J SI2 and it is stunning and looks pretty white. I love the diamond and it does not look so drastic next to my GIA E diamond. I wish my camera was working so I could post pictures of it. I hope something comes up soon in this combination for you. We are all just as excited for you!

haha... I like the semi-normal part

I am tremendously indecisive when it comes to my diamond purchases

Just loo back at the "Great Three-Ring Dilemma of 2008", the "Great Baby Ring Decision of 2009" and the "Mondo Color Upgrade decision of 2009" to see but a taste of my heming and hawing.

Thanks for your words vanderaf. I did not think the J to G comparison was all that dramatic either. I have actually never thought that the color grades were very dramatic when you are talking a few moves. Face up it is hard to even see the difference, though it is there. From the side it is more noticable, but still pretty subtle.

It would have been interesting to compare a K to a J. I have seen it in videos, but not in person. I would love to see photos of your two diamonds!!

I still do not know what I will do. In the end, it is a moot point since there is nothing presently in BGDs inventory to even tempt me

I have been informed that Brian is in touch with the factory where they get their diamonds and will watch for something for me, but also that he will be going to Antwerp to do another big buy in May, and hopefully from that there will be a couple of options for me.

I suspect I will end up getting the first diamond in the size and price point I want

so fate will decide the exact combo for me perhaps

Or maybe not. I don't know.

I wouldn''t say enjoying your pain and suffering but rather hoping you are able to get your hearts desire.

However, I DO feel your pain!
