I posted the wax pics about a week ago. I think I''ll let the ring do the talking here.

I gave it to my fiancee today...it is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen, and I looked at a lot. It looks even better in person -- oh the dispersion!!

Thanks to all who helped steer me in the right direction! I highly recommend WF custom work!!

Oh that is just beautiful!!!

Really nice and very unique.

What are the basic specs, if you don''t mind?

That''s really a WOWer! I haven''t seen anything like it from WF. Specs please. And congrats on the engagement!

That is just gorgeous....I bet she is just thrilled! I would say that you may have won yourself a whole lot of ''brownie points''...

My engagement ring is being made as we speak and I can only hope is just as beautiful....

Beautiful!

I have to say, I dont really like princess cuts. But that ring and design is really nice and it really flows together very well.

Good job sir.

Really gorgeous ring! I love the setting and the sidestones are set so uniquely (for lack of terminology, lol)! Beautiful!

Thanks to all for the wonderful compliments.

Yep, my fiancee thinks it's absolutely amazing....which is the best part.

As far as the stone goes:

AGS0 (the best part!)

This is actually the second ring that my fiancee has gotten. The first one was a long story that made short was a local jeweler trying to pass a custom job off as a designer ring. Pretty horrible situation, but I was refunded the full purchase amount and then went to WF.

Johnni (the fiancee) says...
Matt & I had class together at 11:00 on Friday, September 29th, 2006. After class, he handed me a letter as I asked, "What's this?"

"Looks like a letter," he so helpfully replied as he turned around and walked away with a smirk on his face.

The letter led me to my truck, were there was another letter. There were several more letters/clues throughout the day leading me to different places around Ames (My place, his place, the park, etc.). Each time, I got a pretty cool present associated with golf (a hat, a glove, balls, shoes, etc.). The letters insisted that I stay at each location until an exact designated time (12:25, 2:05, etc.)

The quest eventually took me back to my room, where I opened my door to see a nice new set of clubs. I thought this might be “the day,” but then he showed up shortly after to take me golfing. I figured he must be really excited about the game. So we golfed.
Things didn't end there. While receiving these gifts, Matt kept me busy putting together a puzzle because he was "in class." Each letter had a few puzzle pieces in it. One of my gifts was a picture frame to use as a working surface. During our 9 holes of golf if I had a good shot, or at least a good attitude about the game, he gave me a few more puzzle pieces.

We got back to my place, and he told me to put the rest of my puzzle together. There were new envelopes in my room, numbered in the order that I should open them. He arranged them so I still couldn't quite tell what the puzzle was. I almost finished the puzzle, but there was one piece missing. The last letter said something to the effect of, "Now, it’s time for you to complete the puzzle."

The puzzle was a blown up picture of himself kneeling outside of my apartment. I went out of my room, followed the rose petals to my door, and found him matching the picture exactly. He asked, and I replied with a casual, "Yeah," still concerned about finding the missing puzzle piece.

After not being able to get ahold of my family, we went to meet his parents to go out to dinner. As I opened their hotel door, I saw my parents, my brother, and his wife. What a long day of surprises!

Matt-

That looks so much like an expensive designer ring made by Peter Storm. I have seen them at stores for up to 12k for the mounting alone. It''s beautiful!

I have to know it you were inspired by the Peter Storm rings or if it is just a coincidence?!

Believe it or not...no I wasn't.

BUT, I did see a different ring that inspired me (and when I say me I mean WF)...it's by Rego.

So the answer is no but close....either way, those Peter Storm rings are beautiful -- but I still prefer the one that was made for us!

Rego Ring:

Gorgeous ring -- congratulations! (And I must say I like your version better than the Rego pic you posted or the Peter Storm!)

ditto...

It''s beautiful! Congratulations. WF did a beautiful job on a setting design.

It''s just GORGEOUS!

I love the side stones. I actually wanted an e-ring like yours but then I thought long and hard about what would keep me happy for many, many years (I''ve changed my mind a gazillion times before deciding on my actual e-ring, my FI says I''m indecisive) and a simpler style fits me better. But I wouldn''t mind having your ring if I got it!

It''s just beautiful & unique. She''s one lucky girl!

I am jealous, that is absolutley gorgeous!!! Congrats!!

~~I lurve it!! It does remind me of the Peter Storm ring, but I like yours better (cause it''s not so busy)...
