I am anxiously awaiting my BGD reset!

I agreed with all how beautiful and elegant look, simple but elegant and classic indeed.

This may be silly question, may I ask, what did you do with the old shank? or whatever they call the old one? and the diamond is your right? not BGD but they will do the new setting for you? Thank you, just curious because I would love to upgrade as well and turn my first ring which is Leo to a pendent and just wonder what will do with the old shank? Thank you!

Thanks all! I agree the band is lovely but I think a simple micro-pave band would be best.

Luckky... I sent my previous ring to Brian. The diamond is from a vendor out of Beverly Hills. I have the old setting with the pear sidestones still set into them. Not sure if I will set a colored stone in it or resell it............... I hope to re-use it though.

The band is very pretty but I think a thinner band would look better - your ring is stunning!

I love the new setting! :appl:

ps, I really like the band, but also think something more sleek would look better w the reset- maybe something like a Leon pave band?

gorgeous  love it!

LOve the reset and the new band too - it has a very distinct look to it!

Lovely!
Very elegant....

are you able to tell us what the ring size is as well do you know what the width of the top of the shank is as well as the bottom part of the ring?

I like that it doesn't look bulky..

That is what I love it about it sparklyforever! It really showcases the true shape of my cushion cut. I was getting my nails done yesterday and one of the technicians went out of her way and came over and ooh and aawed over my ring. Before, I don't think anyone knew what to think since the setting was somewhat chunkier....... and most people don't know what a cushion cut is. I am teaching them! I have 2 nephews that I helped buy erings/ diamonds and they both bought their fiance's cushion cuts!!!

The shank tapers from about 2.2 mm where the head is and 2.7 mm in the back of the shank. It is a little under a size 5.5 at 5 and 3/8..........

I sooo can't wait to see all the YUMMY details in person. Thank you to Kticern for her inspiration piece. I hope you consider it the utmost complement that I wanted to replicate my ring after yours.

Hey CCN! I just wanted to say congrats! I am not around much anymore since I had my son but I check in every once in a while and just happened to catch this. I am SOOOO happy that you liked my ring enough to get one of your own.

Brian and Lesley are great to work with and to make amazing pieces.

Enjoy every minute with your ring....it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

CCN, your reset is so beautiful! I did really love your old setting with the pear side stones, but after seeing this new one on your hand, the cushion really pops! The solitaire band setting is so elegant - seeing it on your hand makes me go back and forth on my love of pave bands! Your photos also really show how thin 2.2 mm is in real life, and you get the added bonus of band sturdiness.

I love the contrast between your wedding band and the solitaire! Enjoy, and wear it in good health!

I finally got in here to see your real life pics! That ring is GORGEOUS. Very delicate and your stone is the feature! :) I love it. I will say the band overpowers it IMO. Sorry to say that. While I like the band, it's so thick compared to the new setting. I think you need something more delicate so that your eye isn't drawn to the band. You know what I mean?

I think that a colored stone would look fabulous in your old setting. If you decide to sell the setting let me know. . . I might be able to fill that baby! :)

Thanks hoofs........... In real life the band really does not overpower....but you know when it just doesn't have that something -something that says...... YES, this is THE ONE!!! I will certainly keep you posted concerning what I do with the old setting.....

Thank you~! I do love this band and the quality is amazing for the price... I am not sure if I will part with it even though I am still within the return period. I do have my eye on another band........ so stay tuned. I might have a whole entourage of bands before it is over with. I already have 5 other bands, but nothing looks as nice as this one so it is not out of the running for sure. I think If I put a 3mm plain white gold band in between would give it the separation that it needs to look perfect........ o.k... I am on a "band hunt"!! :))

love your setting! we have very similar setting except my shank is a bit thinner! congrats! :appl:

YOur ring is very similar! It is beautiful!

LOVE it!!! I'm so glad I resurfaced on the PS scene to see this!! :) It couldn't be more perfect!!

CCN...I was out of town over the weekend and somehow missed this! I love your new setting! It reminds me a lot of my daughter's Vatche Caroline setting with the diamonds on the basket.
