How much $ would I get for my old diamond?

My diamond is I-J color and is approx. .52 carat. It has flouresence. Round brilliant.
SI1 I think. Cut is very good

About how much do you think I''d get? Would I get more money if I was purchasing
a diamond from the person who buys this diamond?

What''s the best thing to do? Trade in? Sell? How will I get the most money to put
towards my new diamond?

I bought it from The Karat Shop and I don''t want to buy a new diamond from them.

Hi jewelgal,

unfortunately, you really don't get much reselling diamonds as a consumer...I'm not sure if PS vendors accept loose diamonds they did not originally sell, hopefully someone else can chime in on that.

You could have some options in Craigslist, Ebay etc - I guess it depends on what price you are willing to part with it, and how much time you have..
I did want to ask, is it certified? If so, from which lab?
