Hello,
I was looking in the colored diamond section of one of the well known sellers and came across a nice looking GIA Faint Pinkish Brown diamond which seemed like a pretty good price at 0.91ct and 6.15mm for approx $2,300. I understand browns are typically less expensive, but have read that the brownish tints can be more appealing to those whose eyes don’t prefer a warmer yellow tint. I am wondering though, how do we know just how tinted the stone is on the lettered GIA color scale? The GIA report just states Faint Pinkish Brown. Could it be anywhere from say G-M? I have attached pictures of the diamond, but have cropped out the sellers info so trade members can comment if they would like
. Thanks!
