How much should it cost to rotate my stone?

While cleaning my ring today, I noticed for the first time a black spot next to a prong. It almost feels three dimensional, as if it is a crack or chip! I don't have an inclusion plot since the ring is uncertified (pre-PS), so I don't know if it's new or just something I haven't noticed. I'd like to have it looked at to make sure there isn't a structural issue. How much can I expect a local jeweler to charge to look at the stone? If there's not a problem, how much could I expect to pay to have them rotate the stone a smidge to hide the spot? It's a simple 4-prong round setting with two side stones. I just don't want to be taken advantage of. Thanks!

I think that any Jeweler will take a look at it for free. Resetting usually starts at 100.00 or so, since you have a simple setting, and assuming that it doesn't need to be re-pronged, or need a new head, I would expect it to remain in this price range.
