Well, it depends on a lot of factors.

The diamond search engine on this forum is listing 0.70ct E VS1 round diamonds with GIA certs from between $2184 and $4134.

A simple, 2.5mm platinum setting generally costs around $300. However, even a simple platinum setting can increase a lot in price if it involves a lot more platinum or is a special design.

I hope I am not aiding and abetting you in trying to figure out how much your fiancee shelled out for you! From the information you provided, I would guess anywhere from $2500 to $4750. Cut quality and the type of setting make a lot of difference.
