with oil price falling to $48 per barrel I paid $2.87 for Chevron premium. IMO, based on the price of oil premium gas should be closer to $2.50 per gallon, anyway much better than 6 month ago at $4.25

Gas is more expensive in canada, I think we have a ton of taxes on it. We are probably one of the lowest in Canada as well. Before it went down, we were paying $1.19/L which would be $4.50/gallon.
eta - prices based on regular. My pos doesnt need that fancy gas.

The highest was 1.49 GBP per litre at the same garage, and more at a motorway services.

Monday it was down to $1.75 here in Ohio, but it jumped up to $2.09 by Wednesday and has stayed there. Can't complain, though. It was only about a month ago we were thrilled when it got down into the $2.60s.

Just paid $0.689/L today at Costco, so about $2.76 a gallon. About a year ago, I was paying around $1.10 to $1.20/L and a few months ago it was around $1.30/L. So happy that a fill up was $35 instead of $70!

74c/L here. I'm hanging out for pre-Gulf war prices, that would be sweeeet. Actually, I'd like to trade my car in for a Nissan Leaf.

We do that too--one of the supermarkets here offers fuel points so we use .30-.40 off per gallon after we rack up enough points once a month or so. Even though their unleaded is .20 more than the stations selling for 1.99 (or today I saw 1.94), we still came out ahead by using .40 off the other day.

Lower prices at the pump makes me a bit uneasy. I feel like it's too good to be true or last very much longer.

I'm glad we don't fill up with tobacco, a pack of 25 cigarettes costs over $17USD at the moment!
