How many of you have finances together without yet engaged?

As I stated in the other thread I believe you are referring to, we did. We opened a joint account a few years ago, saved up a deposit together and then bought a house. We have a joint credit card too (it''s actually his, I am an additional cardholder). I still have my own bank account and investments (we have joint investments too) and always will.

I understand the differing opinions about it - but it was the right decision for us.
