I picked up the ring today. The feather is hidden! I could kind of figure out which prong it is, but only because I was looking for it. Even holding up 2 inches from my eyes, it is really hard to see. Thanks to WF for doing a such a good job of hiding it.

The thing I have to get used to is the strong blue fluorescence. My last diamond was a medium blue. I never saw it. With this one, I definitely see it. Is it bad? Not sure. It takes some getting used to. In my house, the diamond looks pretty white. In the Ulta store, it looked sickeningly white! Outside in natural light, it had a blue cast and did like kind of hazy. This is the scenario where it takes a little getting used to. I'll 'try it out' for the next couple of days and see if it grows on me.

No comments - maybe we are all well jealous. Your diamond looks great. What is the carat weight?

It is 2.50 carats and i wear a size 3.75. There is no way I'd ever be able to get something this 'big' unless I drop down in color or pay more money.

I wore it yesterday and my family and relatives all oohed and aaahed over it. No one commented on any haziness ( but then again they didn't notice it or just didn't see it.)

I've cleaned it this morning and will wear it again in different light to see if the haziness bothers me. I read posts last night and saw pictures re. strong blue fluorescence. My ring does look like those pics. I guess it's just a matter of preference. WF did mention that the diamond held under a "Otto" (?) light at x inches (can't remember the distance) did show some haziness. When I asked if hazy in natural sunlight or office lighting, I was told no.

Your stone looks beautiful! Looks huge on your hand! Congratulations! Enjoy your big, beautiful diamond ring! I'm quite jealous of your small ring size...my 2.538 carat doesn't look that big on my 6.75 size finger!

And, keep in mind, even with "negligible" fluorescence, direct sun is not going to be its best lighting!
