How does this one look -- would appreciate feedback!

Hi!
I'm looking for a lab-grown diamond for around 3ct or a bit higher, E-F, VS2-1, ideal cut. Budget is around ~4k total, but can go up a bit more.

After a couple of visits to the jeweler, I thought what looked good to (my eyes), but once I started looking at it, I was horrified to find a chip on some of the internet pictures of it (with the instore mark-up, the total was bit lower than 5k including settings)

The chip looked bad in these photos, but I didnt really see it (or maybe not have focused upon it).

is a back up that I was looking for with similar proportions - does that look better? Open to other ideas!

Do you mean the black inclusion at around 10 o’clock?

Thanks for the replies. I'm worried about that the part is not so round like others - or is it the camera's fault? Also wondering if the price is too high (but reasonable given it is an in-person jewler)

That's not a chip. If it were it would be shown on the plot. It's privebly a reflection of tweezers or whatever holder the person is using.

That said, you could find better for less buying online

Thanks for the reply. From what I gather from the forums, I'm guessing that for online, I should look for GCAL 8XL (to be safe regarding haziness etc), good proportions, and take it to a local jeweler for setting - does that sound about right?
