Hello!

I found a GIA G color, 1.07 ct stone for the engagement ring, and since i know here are many with excellent knowledge about diamonds so I would love to have your opinion please. The inclusions are few pinpoints and 2 crystals... will this sparkle? Do you think it is a good purchase with 5.5K? sorry i initially wrote 6K, but it includes the setting so the diamond itself is 5.5Kish.

Carat Weight:1.07

Looks mighty clean for an SI2. I can't really tell if one of the black spots near the center of the table is black crystal or virtual facet. If it's a black spot, pass--it will not be eye clean.
Do you have the GIA report number? Does the GIA report state "additional clouds/twinning whisps not shown" or "clarity grade based on clouds not shown" or anything like that? This is important to know.

It's not a super ideal by any means, but it's nice and the price is fair for a 1 ct G SI2.

What did the vendor say about the visibility of the inclusions? It does look like a nice SI2 but they would be the only ones able to advise on those.
If their comments still concern you- do they offer a good enough return policy for you to get it unset, then send it back for setting or return depending on whether or not you like it?

I think that's where the crystals are and the customer rep told me it is eye clean.
On the report it did not indicate any description like that… will it not sparkle?
Thank you for your input!

Yes they do have 30 day return policy. And the cus rep told me it is eye clean.... Since i do not know much about stones i wanted to check.
Thank you so much for the input!

It will DEFINITELY sparkle. The cut assures that and it will be amazing, I promise! I just wanted to make sure it's eyeclean.

Sounds like you have a GORGEOUS and very budget friendly stone.

If it were me, and I wanted a MRB, I would buy it.

oh sounds great! thank you so much. So happy with the stone now! :appl:

I agree it's definitely not "super ideal" in terms of cut but if that is okay with you it does seem like it would sparkle well!!! I think the hearts and arrows image is a little off and looks like it has been slightly photoshopped; I would make sure they have a good return policy just in case!!!

What on earth?

The hearts image does not look photoshopped.

Sorry guys! I am a newbie too, also pretty paranoid myself... I take back my previous comment and won't be overzealous with my comments anymore

This diamond looks as though it will be very pretty in person with lots of sparkle. It will be fun to hear the OP's opinion when he sees this stone.
