one in Las Vegas, NV?

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a jeweler (I'm looking for someone that can also do somewhat custom pieces in platinum) in the Las Vegas area. If not, any recommendations for a place to start looking?

Also, if you found your own jeweler, how did you find him/her? Should I look at jewelry repair shops, etc? I know some maul stores have jewelers....

Thanks

I"m sorry I cannot recommend a Las Vegas jeweler.
I can tell you how I found the jeweler who did my reset last year. Having moved here three years ago, I am 3000 miles away from the jeweler who originally set my diamond. What I did was look around at the people I know, especially those that are local or have lived here quite a while. If I was impressed with their jewelry, especially their wedding sets, I'd tell them, and ask the where went, if they would recommend their services. Then I visited those shops, and chose from there. I was very happy with the jeweler I chose. It's a family business, owned and operated for many, many years. They did a beautiful job. I had the ring custom made, and I've used their services since, for repairs, etc.
Good luck with finding your jeweler!

Thank you so much. I will have to try that. I tried asking co-workers, but everyone here is so transient, most people either had jewelers out of state, or had no clue on jewelry (I got a local department store as an answer for one).
