I just made an excellent purchase (I think)

I foud this stone:
GIA, G, SI1, .83tcw, , VG Cut, VG-Polish, VG-Sym, No Flour

I told the jeweler I wanted another as close as possible to make a pair of stud earings.

All told, my final price will be $3750, set in 3 prong martini settings 18kt white gold (i may upgrade to platinum)

My first question, should it be fairly easy for my dealer to find a closely matching stone? What should I be willing to be flexible on?

Did I get a good price for both stones set as ear rings?

Thanks

Can you post the details of the diamond please, crown and paviliona angles, depth and table, diameter and girdle thickness?

Need more numbers as requested by Lorelei.

That seems really high if they are .83 ctw, not .83 each, even without knowing the stats. WF has some Ready Set to Go earrings, 1 ctw, in platinum martinis for $2,445.

I think the op meant 1 of the stone he found was a 0.83c and he is asking the jeweler to find another stone of similar parameter to make a pair of setting.

Correct, each stone will be .83 for a total weight of 1.66.

I will try to get a copy of the cert this week since I''m waiting on the jeweler to find another.
