I don''t know why the diamonds have those black spots. Perhaps reflections from the black camera lens. Anyway, they''re not there in real life....at least I don''t think so. Still pretty nervous about all this.
I remember in your other thread you were concerned about "coming down" a notch in color....well I think that puppy actually looks whiter in most of your pictures!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the wonderful compliments!!!!! All the pictures were taken in my jeweler's office, so I can't wait to see how it photographs in other lighting situations. I didn't want to take the stone home with me because it's not insured. My rings are already at Signed Pieces. I'm just waiting, waiting for the new head to be installed. I have a few more pics to add, but they're fairly similar to what you've already seen. I'm so glad you guys think the diamond is pretty...and not yellow!
Here's a picture of the stones pavilion side up. Do you see the color in the I? The pavilion looks darker, but I don't know if it's yellow that I'm seeing. It's hard to tell given the lighting conditions. Okay, time to stop obsessing. My husband keeps joking that he can see the hamster wheel spinning in my head. Time for sleep.
