Can I tell you how jealous I am? Why is it that whenever I go into pawn shops, all I find is old lawn equipment and some very QVC-ish rings???????

Sorry I'm just now getting back to this. We went out of town for Christmas. Thank you all so much. I do feel very lucky to have found it. My mom had actually told me that this particular pawn shop had awesome jewelry and I had never been so decided to go. I have kind of been obsessed with old cuts ever since I found this forum but never thought I'd actually be able to have one (unless it was really tiny). I got so excited when they told me the price that I didn't even haggle I probably could have gotten it even cheaper, but I'm not complaining

And thanks so much for the compliments on my photos. I only have a canon rebel xs with the kit lens and a 50mm 1.8. Nothing fancy. The macro pictures were actually done by putting my kit lens on the camera and butting the 50mm up against it backwards and then taking pictures from about an inch away. I don't have a macro lens (hopefully some day), but until then, that's what I do.
