Hey quick question about my diamond ring!

So I actually am new to this but I am having so much fun with all this, my first purchase was an nice 14k gold chain.

And than recently I was browsing a pawn shop and I made an impulse buy, it’s a 14k gold ring weighs 9.8g and it has round and baguette diamonds. I payed 500$ is there anything you guys can tell me about the ring or diamonds? Did I pay too much? Thanks so much in advance!

What is the scrap value of that weight in 14k gold?

Are there any stampings on/in the ring?

Consider what you paid above as for the design and the diamonds. If you enjoy the ring, then that’s what matters. Those diamonds look like they could benefit from an ultrasonic cleaning, they would sparkle more.
