Hi All,

you guys (flying pig) found the diamond below and I saw it- amazing in every way, except it had a very visible black dot (it was super small, but for some reason, I kept noticing it). So, it is back to the drawing board for me.

would someone mind helping me find an amazing stone? My parameters: 1.7-1.8 (prefer 1.7), amazing sparkle, E, F, - budget is 20,000. I’m looking for nothing short of a show stopper.

The diamond pictured is so great- except that black dot is just in the wrong place. Any ideas for stones would be appreciated. I really want a diamond in the rough (ha ha). But, in all seriousness, I’m hoping for a show stopper under 20.

Flying pig- you are very good at diamonds, so I would love your opinion. When I look at the original stone you helped choose (GIA above), I see a black spot and my jeweler showed me the videos and said that I would be able to see the black spot With the naked eye (there are 2). I can absolutely see the black spots in the videos. But JA is telling me - no way can the naked eye see that spot. Opinion?

Can you give us the link to the original stone that you can see the black spots in? Hard to believe you can see them when its a VS1 stone and the
dots are not the grade making inclusion.

Do you see any issues with it?

I would be shocked if you could see any inclusions on the VS1 with the naked eye

You have some great choices here. The JA G 1.78, BN F 1.80 and Whiteflash G 1.70 all look like great contenders! Can’t wait to see what you choose.

Thanks. I really appreciate the help. I get to see the BN one on Tuesday. It happens to be located in California, which is where I am.

I do not see anything alarming in the BN F VVS. Based on the video, it is as good as the JA E VS1 in regards to cut. No noticeable leakage and clean looking arrows.
