I have a .65c HOF diamond that needs to be reset. I prefer yellow gold and need to know if anyone has seen that size diamond in a sleek line solitaire where the shoulders come to a point? It doesn’t appear the points touch the prongs and am wondering if this is bothersome. I’m thinking the sleek line will make the diamond appear a bit larger but with that size diamond the points on the shoulder may be more noticeable? Thanks for any ideas and pictures are appreciated as well.

If you are talking about the WF Sleekline solitaire I think the shank does touch the basket (not necessarily the pongs though). WF has a picture with
a .7 stone down in the "Recently Purchased" pictures. I think it would be fine and look beautiful...I like how the shank gets thinner as it comes up
to the stone.

Thank you tyty333! Yes, I am referring to the Whiteflash Sleekline setting. I think it looks beautiful as well. I have had the diamond set in a very basic 6 prong solitaire setting and want to go to a 4 prong and most of the time I see other diamonds in that setting they seem to be larger stones. I just don‘t know how I will feel about the gap between the shank and the prongs. It is reassuring to hear your thoughts.
