Hi everyone, this is my first post and I just wanted to thank everyone for their help.

I''d like to go with a round brilliant diamond designed like the Tiffany ring in the link below.

I''m looking at buying the diamond below:

After reading through the forums I am thinking maybe its better to get the signature ideal

Any thoughts? Is there a designer any of you guys know who can pull this off. I guess I''d buy the diamond from Blue Nile and have it shipped to the designer.

Thanks

Hi Iceguy :) Welcome to Pricescope

I can''t help too much with the diamond choice (someone with higher expertise will be able to chip in there) but for the setting Leon Mege does some designs that are quite similar :)

RB with halo/bezel and pave

RB with halo/claws and pave

GL with your search :)

Hi icyguy,

While you''re right that we recommend sticking with BN''s SC, I''ll be honest, not crazy about the angles on either, definitely not the first one. I couldn''t really find anything else there, trying to stay at or just under 30,000 (which I assumed was your budget).

However, I did find one quite comperable to the second one, and I can assure this one is a winner. And it also less, at 27, 677.83 with bankwire. I would highly recommend purchasing this one, and the company is great to work with.

If you''re at all interested, please call them to reserve it while you think on it, they will do that at no cost. That way it doesn''t get snatched while you''re thinking.

As for that setting, very pretty. Many could make it I believe. LM as already mentioned, or one of the less expensive vendors if you''re trying to budget. Such as Engagementringsdirect, Whiteflash, and Quest.

HTH!

The stone Ellen posted is an absolute stunner. I''d go with that one in a heartbeat.

maybe its just me... but if I''m spending $30k on a stone (which I did last year), I want something completely colorless... And would sacrifice VS1 for an Si1 if you want to stay in your budget. If you have any sensitivity to color, you will notice yellowishness on a stone that big...

Maybe this one from GOG:

You aren''t losing much surface area at all, and it will look whiter for sure... But its all really a preference...
