I am looking to buy a round loose diamond in the $6,000 price range. I plan on just buying the loose diamond and get a setting locally. I have been looking on James Allen because I like the fact you can actually see the diamond, but even with all the knowledge learned here, I'm still having a hard time picking one out. I would be happy with an I or J color, and would like to get the largest size diamond available for around $6k, but the cut to me is very important, so I don't want to just get a larger diamond if it doesn't look good. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
