    There is a local jeweler that has this diamond available. It's 1.3 carats H color VS2 and it's $9900

    I think I did the HCA right and got 1. Can anyone tell me if this is right and if this diamond is a good value?
 
This is cut right on the edge of GIA XXX and well outside AGS 0 proportions.

Do they have any photos of the diamond?

After running a quick check on James Allen for 1.3ct H VS2 stones, I think they are overcharging you given that you can find a James Allen True Hearts 1.31 H VS2 for $8960:

No just one basic one but it's a local store that a lot of women recommend however I'm not sure how knowledgeable they are on diamond cuts and all that. The customer service reps aren't commission based so it's not a pushy store.

Those diamonds look good I only saw one spot on either of them. I'm unfamiliar with how the online process works. I am not sure what I want to set my diamond in yet. I've been trying things on and most recently loved a setting that was simple with the round and a pear side stone on each. If I had it made by David Klass would they find the side stones? The online thing is intimating but I want to get a well cut diamond and not get ripped off!
 
I'm not sure how the shipping works if you purchase the stone from JA and then have it shipped to David Klass for him to then set it. Others on here are far more knowledgeable about settings than I am.

Entirely possible that if you go with one of his settings that he could source the pears for you while you source the center stone. Something that you would have to potentially discuss with him.

not well cut and over-priced. agree with bmfang.

Oh both of those are beauties! I'm looking for a 1.25-1.5 carat middle stone. I did see one option at a local jeweler and they said they would have to customize it but it would have the center diamond sitting a little higher to compensate for the bigger stone. I really love those two options as well!!

They are not really customizing it for you. It will sit higher because they're slotting it into an existing mold / setting and making basic adjustments. The result will be that there will be an unattractive airline.

They said it had to be customized because the current setting would not allow for a bigger diamond that they had. It only could fit a .75 carat.
