Help with final assessment of a diamond

Hi all. I've been scouring the JA site and have decided on a diamond, I think. It will go in a halo setting. I'd like to get some extra eyes and some feedback on it before I fully commit. Thanks in advance

From the photo and video alone, it looks very nice, but they should be able to get you an IS image for confirmation.

I requested an IS and they said the diamond was overseas and not available to do an IS. Is that typical?

Yes, it is very typical.

I would consider buying this diamond, even without the IS. That's just me for a sub $5000/1-carat diamond, as long as the photo is good, HCA is good, the proportions are within the orthodox ideal ranges AND within GIA X/AGS 0 ranges.
