Although I have been a long time lurker on this site, I still feel that I have a lot to learn. Therefore, I would appreciate some help from the experts out there!

Please tell me what you think about the following RB''s...
I am currently considering two stones and would value any input and advice. Which stone is preferable……I have not seen the stones yet but this is the info I have – what should I expect to pay for each of these stones?
Many thanks for all your help

From the numbers--#2 definitely looks to be the better stone.
The size difference is not great and they''d face up about the same.

You can search for stones on the PS homepage to give you an idea of price.

I like #2 better.

I''m very color sensitive and would much rather have E than G. Also I like crown/ pav. combo better on #2, and prefer smaller tables.

As far as 1.5 vs. 1.70 I would rather have the bigger size. Maybe there is a compromise stone out there.

As far as pricing goes, maybe just list the prices they are being sold to you at. In the past threads. many have given helpful imput on whether you are getting a fair price.

Hi My rock! Welcome!

Have you tried using the Pricescope Cut Quality search tool above ... Here is a link if you have not ... if you key in your desired specs, you should get a really good idea of a price range for your carat size.

Both of your choices look lovely. Do you know if you are "color sensitive"? If not, you may want to check out some well cut diamonds in person and determine whether or not you would prefer an E color graded diamond to a G color graded diamond as this may affect your decision.

I much prefer the size, color/clarity of #1, but the cut of #2. It''s cut a lot tighter than 1, and the angle combo is better, though I''d really like to see an Idealscope pic of it, or a Sarin report. Is that possible?

And spark gave you a link to help with pricing.

Welcome MR!

Ditto Ellen's advice, see if you can get an Idealscope image to confirm the numbers, but the second diamond looks promising.
