I counted roughly 50 stones. That's approximately 4 carats each. When cut you will be left with approximately a 1.5ct stone or less. The cost of having each stone cut would far outweigh their value.

thank you
any other suggestion or comment are welcome

I agree.

Depends on where they're cut - at a few dollars per stone in Sri Lanka or India, it might be easier to sell them as facets. At $50-250 per stone in the US or Europe, the cost of getting them cut far outweighs their value.

I wouldnt cut it if I were you.

thanks for all
for those who say that it is better to don't cut these stones . Do you think that this it is possible get fair price from this kind of stones even without cutting .?
the isea of india is not bad att all .
but if i can save a trip to india it will be a good thing.

If that is white or colorless topaz, then the rough is around $0.25 per ct.

these are yellow topaz stones with some light orange

Would it cost less to cut them into cabochons /rose cut?
Maybe this way you could also save weight.

The best bet would be sending them to a commercial cutting house as cm366 said above...Thailand, India, or Sri Lanka where the cutting fees are very low.

The value of this material doesn't warrant spending for custom cutting, but would be worth cutting with minimal investment.

can some one tell me wher could i sell them and at wich pric .
bay the way im in canada
thank you

Sir

Yes, you can sell them. As previous people mentioned...a typical price for such stones is somewhere around 25 cents per carat. So the best outcome is that you will sell them for somewhere around $50 US dollars. That is the best outcome. The worst outcome is that no one will buy them.

I'm only trying to help you paint a realistic outcome.
