I''m looking to purchase an engagement ring for my honey and would like some advice on the following diamond. Do you think it''s a good price? What cut classification would you give it just by the specs?
What recommendations do you have? What techniques can I use to get the price even cheaper?
Any advice is appreciated....thanks so much!

YOUR PAYING ABOUT A 1000 DOLLARS TOO MUCH
FOR THAT MONEY I WOULDN'T GO LESS THAN A H COLOR EVEN IF ITS A SI1
I COLOR TENDS TO SHOW SOME COLOR IN PLATINUM SETTINGS
AND IS HARDER TO RESELL BECAUSE NOT TO MANY WANT I COLOR

YOUR WRONG THAT'S BALONEY THERE ARE LOTS OF PEOPLE WHO WANT I COLOR THEY ARE EVERYWHERE MOST STONES OUT THERE ARE K/L/M OR MORE SO I WOULD LOOK WHITE IN COMPARISON AND IT DOESN'T LOOK BAD IN PLATINUM IT JUST DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A D AND I DON'T THINK YOUR PAYING TOO MUCH EITHER.

ps - see if you can get a Sarin report - it will give you the crown and pavilion angles, which will give a better indication of how that puppy will perform.

Since it's GIA certified...it doesn't have the other angles.

What is a sarin report? And do I just ask the jeweler to get one?
How likely would a jeweler let me do that?

Maybe $1,000 overpriced, huh? I'll have to see if I can negotiate a better deal.
The jeweler showed me other stones that was $2,000 more expensive and it made
the $6,500 stone look cheaper. I wonder if that was his ploy.

Here is th specs on the 2nd stone that was selling for $8,000....thanks!
