Help posting photos

Sorry to be so needy. Can't figure out how to post Email photos of diamond. Tried to copy and paste and tried to insert. I'm sure I am doing something wrong. Thanks for any help.

I visit many fora and Pricescope's process is the least intuitive of all.

When you are typing your post look towards the bottom and click on the blue tab that says "upload attachment".



Then click on the white box for "Choose File":



A new window will open for you to find your picture file, select it, then click on "chose" button in the lower right corner. I did not make a screen capture of this step because it may look different of your computer.
After selecting the picture file a new window appears.
Then click on the blue tab "add the file"



Then click on the blue tab for "place inline"

I am told that the extension docx is not allowed.

Yes, unfortunately only certain picture file types are accepted by Pricescope.

If you have a Mac it's easy to convert it to a PNG file ...

With the picture displayed put your cursor over one corner.
Pres and hold both the Shift and Command keys as you press the 4 key.
The cursor will change its appearance to +

Press the mouse and keep it pressed while dragging the cursor to the opposite corner.
Let go of the mouse.
This places a "screen capture" on your desktop that is a PNG file, which Pricescope will accept.
It will name the file something like "Screen Shot 2013-04-12 at 9.12.21 AM"

If you don't have a Mac I think you have to use a program to convert your picture file to PNG or JPEG.
If a PC person here knows an easy way to do this please post it.
