HELP! Please show me your 1 Carat Cushion in a Halo Ring!!

My jeweler ordered my wedg set to house a 1 cart. cushion. I am wondering how it will look - i am unsure and concerned.... I need to see some tonight because if i change anything, it has to be tomorrow or ASAP! tHank you!

Please if possible, state the mm size of your halo north to south, your finger size and carat size of cushion THANK U!!!

Do you have a picture of the setting that they ordered?? Is it one you chose, or is it a custom ring? Do you know the size of the halo itself? (1mm, 2mm, etc.)

My diamond is 1.87 ct, and N/S it's about 7.5mm. My halo is made of .5 pointers and it's 1mm wide. So my entire halo, N/S is probably 9.5mm, and 9.1mm E/W.

Sounds like you have a smaller center stone, and a much larger halo. Is this the look you want? I'd love to see a picture of the setting, that will help give an idea of what it will look like with a 1ct. center stone.

well the halo is i 'm guessing, 1.5mm and total north to south 11mm.......

Wouldn't that make the stone 7-8 mm N-S? That's more like a 2-2.5 ct stone (to fit the setting).

that's what i thought -

i guess she was asking them to modify it to fit a 1 carat cushion,. going to call tomorrow and cancel the order.
will wait til i figure out what to do

maybe i'll go back to looking for a setting for my oec/trans...
