The setting was $800. At this point after speaking with you all i would prefer a refund. Doing some research on comparable GIA stones on JA, this jeweler is over charging me alot for an IGI. I have not even picked up the ring or have the told me it was done.

Well then you should go in person ASAP to get your refund. Bring your refund policy info with you. Hopefully they have not yet sized the ring. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

They are going to refund me everything.They will also be bringing in some GIA stones for me to take a look. I did address the price as JA has quality stones for several thousand cheeper. He says he is willing to work with me.

That's great news! Given you are now a "free agent" and are not tied to this jeweler, you really should let the people here on PS help source you great diamonds from PS trusted vendors within your budget that will provide you with all the images, reports from top labs, and excellent upgrade policies. I'm not saying not to give this jeweler a chance and it's nice to support "local", but I think you should see what you can get via internet with easy returns and refund policies if you aren't happy (but I know you will be if you take suggestions from participants here who do this ALL THE TIME!).
