Found these two stones at a local jeweler. (not a national chain, found him off this website.)

1.04 F VS1 5.52 x 5.33 x 4.21 $4800.00

.83 E VS2 5.43 x 4.93 x 3.82 $2900.00

Both prices include setting and 14k white gold ring.

My question is what do you think of the prices and the diamonds based on the limited info?

Thanks,
Justin

Cannot judge price without knowing cut quality. What lab graded the diamonds at least?

Which one is better between these three... :D

the 2nd one listed - .83 - is far off from being square. its length-width ratio is just over 1.10. an acceptable "squar-ish" standard is at or below 1.05. just keep that in mind. otherwise, from the info given there, it''s really hard to determine quality.

things you want to stay away from are table % that are too high. anything in the upper 70s into the 80s is definitely too high.

a preference is to keep the table % lower than the depth %. princesses are weird and finicky, though. not the cookie cutter easiness as a round is on paper. if you have the opportunity to see the stone in real life, then that would make it much easier to decide.

i have a princess and i love it!

Any thoughts on the ASETS above?

I like the look of the first and second ones the best, nice distribution of red and good contrast patterns. Can''t go further though, maybe Lorelei or stone will be along soon and comment, they know Princess cuts better than I.

I like the GOG ASET best followed by the first from James Allen.

Ditto the ladies above.
