Please pick the one you like the best!

The Whiteflash ring is slightly thicker at 2.3mm vs BGD 2.0mm.

BGD has a Tiffany style 6 prong, and I would request a 6 prong from WF as well. Not sure of Tiffany or cathedrel mounting through( I heard that Tiffany style prongs tend to get dirt lodged inside more?). Both rings would be platinum, and the price is about the same.

Please help me decide which one to pick! Thank you.

where are you getting your diamond from? sometimes the ease of one vendors helps sway the decision, Both vendors have excellent craftsmanship.

Also - see how the melee is set differently along the shank - fishtail vs shared prong, which gives the profile quite a different look -which do you prefer? I rather think this will make your decision.

I didn't realize they are different. I went to Jereds yesterday to look at physical rings and I liked the fishtail look, but I am not at all familiar with a shared prong style. I don't really notice any significant difference.

I bought the diamond from Whiteflash a while ago. It is A Cut Above, so in a way its related to BGD. In fact, Denise from BGD actually sold me my diamond when she worked at Whiteflash.

If you are looking for an opinion I like the Brian Gavin better. :naughty:

Looks like more stone less metal. Just my preffernce.

The construction of the BGD head looks much much nicer.

I inquired about the BGD and asked if I could get a discount if I lowered the diamond melee from F/G to H/I. However, I was quoted only a $35 discount???

I like the head on the BGD better. That would be my choice!

Most of the cost of a setting goes towards the labor and metal, so that doesn't really surprise me.

I definitely prefer the head on the BGD ring - it's much more graceful, IMO.

Edit: Random double post.

Also agree on the BGD, it looks more feminine to me. :)

the BGD is my favorite of those two also!
