I'm looking at four august vintage from good old gold. can someone please advise which one is better? my budget 20 - 22K, cut - ideal - excellent, size - something bigger than a 2 carat. i'm leaning toward the 2.20 J but a little afraid that the color might show especially since i want a halo setting.

also what are the ideal measurements for a old mine cushion cut? i see a lot of information and tools for round brillants but nothing on cushion cut. GIA certs only seem to have table% and depth% besides carat weight, color, clarity and finish grading.

Have Jonathan make you a video for them all. Also ask him to take a look at their colors, to make sure they aren't low J / high K in color. If you are concerned about the color, then stick with the I or G, but seriously in a halo you are going to get a ton of coverage anyway.

"Ideal" cushion cut dimensions are useless with AVC's, as they are their own beast and already have IS and ASET images to guarantee light performance.
