I love step cuts and am looking for a 3/4 eternity band as my wedding ring as I have seen many people say that eternity rings are not easily resized. I'm currently looking at these 2 baguette bands. The first one is a 1/2 eternity and the second one is a 3/4 eternity. I'm debating if the extra cost is worth it to have it be 3/4 eternity so that if it spins, more of the diamonds will still be visible.

I also wanted to get the expert opinions on pricescope of whether or not something like this would be possible with emerald cut diamonds and still have it be somewhat slim (no more than 2.5 mm). I'm not sure how small emerald diamonds can be!

I also emailed IDJ about possible getting a baguette or emerald band made, but haven't heard back from them yet. Does anyone also have any thoughts on having the open holes under the diamond vs it being completely closed?

It really depends on a number of things.
1) what is your ER like. Cos the height of the eternity may rub against the prongs/ setting of the ER
2) what metals are you choosing as some metals wear at diffenrt rates, and given they will be rubbing against each other. May not be a stress for some, but could be for others.
3) 3/4 v 1/2. It depends on how much your rings spin. I know mine does, and I prefer the full eternity. And, when my weight increased- it was an expensive resizing.
4) the 3/4 means that there will be diamonds sitting between fingers. So, depending on the size of the diamond and band, that may or may not feel comfortable between fingers. I know you want a skinny 2.5mm band, so the stones will be taller/ skinnier as you prefer to set the stone in an East west direction.
5) the setting that you have chosen will most probably have a good feel between the fingers, but the shared prongs may or may not cause some discomfort.
6) open holes means it will collect dirt. If having holes make sure those holes are big enough to get tooth brush bristles in to clean.
7) closed holes means no stress of dirt/ cleaning issues.

is there a way of trying some eternity styles on?

That second ring does not look like 3/4 eternity band. Looks more like 2/3rds maybe. If it were for my wedding band and I knew I would be
wearing it for a long time, I would definitely pay for a 3/4 band so I would have no regrets later as far as it spinning (but still be able to resize
slightly).

Call ID Jewelry and get a quote. Ask for PS quality stones. I dont think I would buy from Brilliantly Engaged. Cant recall details but have heard
of negative reviews).

Thanks for your detailed advice! I think I am definitely leaning towards 3/4 eternity. I have only been online window shopping for now so I haven’t tried anything on yet. I didn’t think about different heights and wear on the metals so I’ll probably go and try on some bands before I go and get a custom order made!

Thanks! I’m definitely going to go with 3/4 eternity. IDJ got back to me with a quote for a 2cttw baguette 3/4 eternity but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. I’m waiting to hear back from them about what a 1cttw ring might run.
