Hi all. I'm after some input to find out if I'm on the right track. I'm hoping to narrow these diamonds down to 3 so I can get an ASET images. I'm after a 1crt princess cut with a color of at least an F as it's going to be in a platinum setting and my partner somehow noticed the difference with the G and didn't like it.
Now I've come up with these diamonds based on searching for 1crt diamonds that have similar table and depth to the ACA selection from Whiteflash and narrowed the selection down from there as I figured that was a good base to work from. The ACA diamonds seem to have a depth of 73-75 and a table of 68-71. The obvious difference to me is that the ACA selection seems to all have 3 chevrons whilst the ones I'm finding have 4. I'm guessing if 1 of these diamonds is a real dud the rest will be because I've chosen them with very similar parameters but I'll post them all anyway. Budget is about 5k, worst comes to worse and I'll end up getting the ACA for $5750.
Am I on the right track?
