The engraving says "Always & Forever". I originally wanted to go with birthstones, but when that was no longer possible I went with the engraving.

I think I got very lucky finding ForteKitty's stone, and that allowed me to be able to afford something like VC. I'm very happy overall and I hope she will be too!

So I've received quotes from both VC and MH. MH is about 75% of the VC quote...but I'm having a tough time talking myself into it after seeing all of the gorgeous work VC has done. For this style of setting, and knowing that I like a more modern look, am I correct in saying that my money will be well spent with Victor?

I appreciate the feedback on the donut and single cut pave. If money were not the deciding factor, would single cut be most people's preference? Or does full cut just tend to work better with a shape such as an oval?

I am definitely going to get a quote from Victor to add the birthstones. Perhaps removing the pave from the donut or the wires would make up the difference?

I prefer full cut for modern cut stones, single cut for antique cut stones. I would not remove pave from donut or struts to add secret birthstones, it's a nice touch but not at the expense of design elements you can actually see.
