Help! Need opinions on etching on custom ring!

Is it the lighting? Is it because the images have been blown up too much? Will it look better in person tomorrow?
I need some advice on the etching on my rings

I''m not crazy about it right now, although it i move away from the monitor I think it looks okay. It''s so hard to judge from the photos, am I over-reacting? should i just wait and see?

Actually I think the etching is very pretty and subtle. The size of the image just exaggerates the way it looks. I'll bet you'll like it much better when you see it in person.
