Hi PS family! My family and I have had a rough 6 months or so but things are finally looking up! I’m ready to start on some new projects which leads me here =)2 I have a 3.01 carat TC coming in soon and measures around 9.25 mm. I don’t think I’ll ever stop wearing my warm stone as my engagement ring - it forever has my heart…so I’m thinking the TC should be set into a right hand ring! It’s not a small stone but not huge so what should I do with it? Anyone have any inspirations or design ideas to get me started?

Please clarify if TC = Transistional Cut for avoidance of doubt, TIA.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Personally, I would keep it simple so as not to overshadow your existing set.

Therefore, I would suggest a Gypsy rub-over setting, with or without side stones:

I have a 0.86ct OEC in a Gypsy setting myself as one of my 3 RHRs. It is one of 2 rings that I wear casually instead of the larger 1.19ct EC in an Art Deco inspired diamond halo setting.

Here is a pic of my two "casual" RHRs, the other is an EC which is about 0.47ct in a Platinum band:

Here are some other inspo rings in case fancier settings are preferred:

Looking forward to seeing your finished ring.

Thank you! I love your “casual rings” ;) I love the bezel settings and I’ve tried them but I don’t know that they e been very flattering on my hands. I do really enjoy the first of your fancier suggestions and it’s not too far off from some of the inspirations I pinned earlier tonight =)2 The third one is quite nice too! Maybe I should go a little more antique like your suggestions - they would definitely match my ering. Oh how I’ve missed this process!

I feel like antique cut stones look GORGEOUS in target rings! And the pop of colour makes it look more RHR like than ering like.

Like this, but you can do any colour stone you like. Personally, I think it would look great with yellow, like yellow sapphire, which I think makes for a more neutral ring than blue/red/green!

Ohhhhh that’s not a bad idea! Sapphire is my birthstone too :kiss2:

Ooh^ @jaqjaqjaq, that ring is gorgeous!!!!!

Isn’t it?! :kiss2: I sent an email to David Klass to see what the CADs would look like. I think my stone is larger than the one in the picture so I want to make sure it’s not wonky.
