Help me pick a setting - round, solitaire pendant necklace

In the market for a round solitaire pendant necklace. Diamond will be around 2 carats, give or take. Please help me decide on a setting. I am interested in a basket setting (not bezel), but don’t know what else. Petite bail? Attached (unmoving) at top corners of the diamond? String the necklace through the basket (unsure of technical name). HELP! Appreciate any pics you nay have as well. Thanks!

Are you thinking about going with a stock setting (perhaps with a couple of tweaks) or are you considering full Custom work?
