Yeah, I''m the one with all the 50 point princess cut listing that turn out to be lame diamonds as I can see from the responses people gave.

I''m looking to buy from retail jewlery stores (NOT including malls).
I''m looking for about 50 points princess
color d - f
clarity vs2 - vvs1
pol/sym good - excellent
no cullet
no flouresence
1.00-1.03 length width proportions

The above is what I DEFINITLY know I want
That said what table and depth should I look for.
People say depth in the 64-70 range with the table being a smaller percentage in depth. My question is Why? what difference do those propotions make other than size. The diamonds I''ve listed for ideas on are lets say 76.5D 74T but how do I know the "better" table and depth don''t adversly affect the crown height/angles. Princess cuts don''t have the same standards as rounds. What I mean is it is harder for me to find a premium or ideal cut. I don''t want to buy off the net. Most stores don''t have what I''m looking for. If I was able to find something what price should I expect to pay for an ideal or premium cut? AT A RETAIL store last quote on the last princess cut I listed was
$1550
.51 f vvs2 76.5D 74T g/g 4.19x4.17x3.19

Please I need more input. my price cap for the diamond is around 2000. ALSO, what is a very good cut (not ideal, not premium just plain very good in table and depth?) Does anyone disagree with the AGA charts and have differnt thoughts about what good princess cuts should be.

Thanks for you help.
