Help me find a Halo setting...

I could really use some help finding the right Halo setting for our ring.

I was traveling the jewelry district last week with my GF and snapped some photos of a few different rings she liked - but I'd really like to find something that captures the individual features she liked from EACH of these rings -- OR; perhaps work with someone to custom design a ring.

But I don't know where to look? I would appreciate links to anything similar to the following:

She really likes this style/shape cushion and the size/qty of the pavee/melee

But she prefers a split shank similar to this:

Looking for the Pavee to be set in a deep "U" shape prong similar to this (is there a technical term for this setting?):

Thank you PriceScope community!

I'm no expert, but I can tell you that for custom pave rings the people I see most recommended on this site are Steven Kirsch, Leon Mege, Victor Canera, Engagement Rings Direct, and Jewels by Erica Grace. Those would be for custom work, either completely hand forged or CAD/CAST. They all have websites that would be worth looking around at and many people on this forum have had halo pave rings done by them. Do you know what your budget is for the setting?

Thanks trhs12, I've looked at some of those sites but didn't see exactly what I was looking for. Perhaps a phone call is in order.

Budget for the setting is $2.5k; is this realistic?

It is semi-realistic for a custom CAD ring. And very realistic if you find one already in production like the Garbiel and Co settings through IDJ. You would need to contact each vendor to see what they had that fit your criteria.

Hand forged IE Leon Mege, Steven kirsch, and Victor Canera are not in your budget as their settings typically start around 4k. Read my link I sent you- once again that will answer your questions.

You can see some nice examples of David Klass' work: Google David Klass ring, and look at the images. There are halos and other. I would use him.

Call Chris at ERD and also read CharmyPoo's thread above.

I second this. They've been putting out some great work and they are very easy to deal with with very reasonable prices. Are you in the Bay Area?

You could check out Ritani - I've seen examples in person and they are beautiful

+1 and Ritani came in almost 1/2 the cost of ERD for a comparable quality ring when I was inquiring about custom work.

Call Mark or Chris at ERD!! They can get you exactly what you want with that budget! And they are super nice people too!!
