Hello! I am trying to see which shape and setting is more flatting on chubby fingers. I have size 8.5 fingers and unfortunately couldn’t try these on with my actual ring size. Can you give me your opinion?

1st option is a radiant in a thin pave band to make the center stone look bigger

2nd option is a round in halo to get the most finger coverage

Thank you in advance!

For finger coverage nothing beats the round + halo. And I think I prefer that on you too. Have you tried a radiant halo? Or even better a double halo? :)

The round gets another vote from me, it has more of the wow impact at the first glance. Both rings look beautiful, great choices!

Another vote for the round.

DK :))

i prefer the princess cut
but both look lovelly on your hand and you do in no way have chubby fingers
the round halo probably has more finger coverage but i dont think that should be your solo reason fir going with that shape

have you thought about a wider band ?
i do have short stubby chubby fingere and i find a wider band is slimming to the eye

Another vote for the round

I vote for the round.

Both rings are stunning, but I am thinking the radiant cut will elongate your finger, much like a marquise cut can. Both have great finger coverage, and look amazing on your beautiful hands! Oh, to have smooth, wrinkle-free knuckles....

I love both of them on you. Which shape do *you* prefer? Which draws you in?

I'm so bored with round halos.

I vote door #3, radiant in a halo.

I’m in the round/halo camp. Would it be that size center? That exact ring?? I wasn’t clear.

I'm not quite sure to be honest! They both have different appeals to me. I had loved the round with halo starting a couple years ago, then I fell in love with ovals but fell out of it when I learned about bowties and how hard it is to avoid it, and I had discovered radiants a few months ago and how unique they are! It's been very hard to decide between the two for me. My boyfriend loves the radiants and dislikes the rounds though.

It would be that size center for the round but better quality. For the radiant, it will be a tiny bit bigger. The radiant in the picture has the dimensions 7.92x5.96x3.94 and the one our jeweler will be getting for us to look at will be 8.58x6.59x4.43. We'll be going back this weekend to look at the two options again and make final decisions.

I wear size 8 rings usually but can fit a 7.75 also. I have a round without halo and a radiant with a pave band like that. They’re in my top three fave rings lol. Of those two I prefer the round though. But the radiant would do better at elongating your finger. So I guess the question is whats more important to you, coverage as a whole or elongation?

I love the round and halo, but a radiant in a halo would give you more finger coverage and help enlongate the finger.

Or...if you're open to different options...an elongated radiant with some traps for a 3 stone may also give you coverage and length!

1) your fingers don't look chubby to me
2) they are both pretty rings, which one appeals more to your eyes? which are you going to enjoy looking at more, b/c you'll be the one looking at it the most. =)

I like how the round halo looks, or the radiant if i has a halo

I like the round on your finger ❤️

do you happen to have these rings on different pics, ie one pic with the radiant and one pic with the round? That way it will showcase each ring to their full merit.

in the pic you posted, both rings are competing with each other and the round gets my vote. however, i do like the the radiant, though. I am more a square/ linear person than round, hence my bias.
