Welcome!

Which lab graded these diamonds, EGL? You can honestly do better than either of these, definitely pass on the first one, the cut isn't good.

The second is better but I believe can still be improved on. Also the so called Ideal cut grade is not, and these labels are no guarantee of a well cut diamond, especially if these descriptions are used by vendors.

Are you in the UK?

also...correct EGL graded
Thanks! I don''t know if you are familiar with how the grading labs rank, EGL are said to be softer on grading in some circumstances than the two top tier labs GIA and AGS, this page explains further.

If you are new to this, it is important to know that it is cut quality which gives a diamond its beauty, so very important to concentrate on that. As you are in London, I would recommend you contact Dr Indira Marchant at -

www.bestdiamonds.co.uk if you are looking for a well cut and beautiful diamond. Indira is an expert and a very pleasant lady to deal with who also posts here.

Also if you would like, if you tell us exactly what you are looking for and your budget, maybe we could find some diamonds which might suit you as suggestions?

They look good, so far. Can you tell us the crown and pavilion angles as well? Are you able to get photos?
