hey fellow ps''ers :)

i''ve done some research and read through lots of threads and post and obtained a a lot of helpful advice from you all in the past 2 weeks. now i''ve come down to chosing my center stone. i have a few in mind, but need your help on helping me decide which stone will give me the best WOW factor. the setting is a Four-Stone Diamond Engagement Ring Setting in Platinum (5/8 ct. tw.) VS2 and H in color with a 5 stone diamond band (.75 ct tw). here''s the specs for the center stone i''m considering. it comes with a GIA report. please give me your honest feedback. i don''t have a hard preference for a particular color or carat or clarity, but do want an excellent cut as i''ve learned thats the most important C :). i want the center stone to look bright and bigger than what it really is and just WOW people with its fire :). here''s the specs of the stone i''m considering:

Price: $3,003

Bank wire price: $2,958

Carat weight: 0.74

Cut: Ideal

Color: G

Clarity: VS2

Depth %: 61.5%

Table %: 55%

Symmetry: Excellent

Polish: Excellent

Girdle: Medium

Culet: None

Fluorescence: None

Measurements: 5.83 x 5.85 x 3.59 mm

is this a good stone for the price? if not, can someone suggest another one from bluenile.com? (this is where i''m going to purchase the ring from- don''t shoot me...its my fiance''s choice and whiteflash doesn''t have her setting).

here''s a picture of the setting and band to go along with it. the setting (including the band is going to cost me $3300...its platinum and the diamonds weight a total of 1.45 carats- not including the center stone)

my budget for the entire ring including diamond, setting and band is $6500 max.

pleeeeeease help. thanks!

This one looks promising. Ask to make sure it is eyeclean, but BN do have a 30 day return policy, so plenty of time to check it for yourself.

Yes, it does. Who graded it?

And definitely ask if it''s eyeclean.
